Many people assume baccarat is complicated because it looks "high-end" — but in reality, it's one of the simplest casino games in terms of rules. The objective is straightforward: which hand — Banker or Player — gets closest to 9.
Card Values in Baccarat
This is the most important section to know before playing at bacan4d:
- Number Cards (2–9): Value follows the number shown on the card.
- 10, Jack, Queen, King: All worth 0.
- Ace (A): Worth 1.
- Multi-digit totals: Only the last digit counts. For example, 7 + 6 = 13, so the value is 3.
How a Round Works
At the start of each round, both the Banker and Player are dealt two cards each. Depending on the total value of those cards, a third card may be drawn according to the pre-set Third Card Rule — you don't need to make this call yourself, as the dealer handles it automatically.
- If either hand has a value of 8 or 9 with the first two cards dealt, it is called a "Natural" and the game ends immediately with no additional cards drawn.
- If the Player's value is 0–5, the Player will receive a third card.
- If the Player's value is 6 or 7, the Player stands.
- The Banker's rules for drawing a third card are more complex and depend on the Player's third card value — but again, the dealer handles this automatically at bacan4d.
